Fruit reproduces, it comes from seed. The following are benefits of fruit naturally. The same benefits can be said of us as a fruit spiritually.

• There exists a variety of fruit (apples, peaches, pears, kiwi, figs, watermelons, cantaloupes, etc.) (like a variety of people).
• Fruit is a creation and an outcome (humans are created and we have an outcome).
• Fruit is part of a plant product served as food (Christians and/or humans are products or offspring and we can be spiritual food to the lost, downtrodden and unsaved).
• Fruit is a masterwork (as humans we are God's masterpieces as we are wonderfully and uniquely created).

In looking at the passion fruit the following characteristics were observed:

• Grown from a seed, it is round and has a tough rind,
• is purple and yellow, sometimes a pumpkin color (we come in many colors as humans)
• It's found in Hawaii, Australia, Africa, India, Brazil, Peru, Paraguay, and Argentina, Ecuador and California (we are found all over the world).
• Because of import/export - it is found around the world
• The roots re-sprout even if the top is killed
• Is a vigorous, climbing vine that clings by tendrils to almost any support

• The yellow fruit is fast growing and begins to bear fruit in 1 to 3 years
• Its flavor is appealing and sweet to tart to taste
• Utilizes many types of soil 
• Drainage is absolutely necessary
• Water requirement is high
• If dry, may shrivel and fall prematurely
• Requires regular fertilization
• It has enemies - pests and diseases
• Its perennial
• It is continuous (again and again)
• It is perpetually or everlasting
• It is enduring, permanent or long-lasting
• It is exotic or glamorous or captivating, interesting or enticing
• Known for its beautiful white flowers with purple and pink blooms
